Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as an actress in films for her performances in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She received a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch school of the arts, New York University she obtained an MFA. Aunjanue l. Ellis, an American actor and producer who has worked in theater and TV and films as and is actively involved on both sides of the screen. Her acting career started in the theatre. Then she appeared on numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream film. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just praise from critics but also received a host of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Movie. Her first professional performance was in the role of Ariel as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Alongside Broadway's Come and Gone, she has also been featured in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is best known for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her role in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's police drama High Incident.
